Oh boy. Today was not my best day regarding what I ate. I burnt some calories this morning shoveling my car out of a snow mountain. Side note: I can’t wait to own a home with a garage, or at least a driveway. If digging my car out of the snow wasnt bad enough, the snow plows had dumped another foot or two in front of my car. Ah well, I got some good upper body and core work done. Which, to be honest, is more than I’ve done in about 3 weeks. So anyway… back to my original thought. I was late to work because it took longer to dig my car out, so I picked up a turkey sausage, egg white, and cheese sandwich on a bagel. Definitely not my best decision. AND THEN, my coworker brought in dunkin donuts, and I couldn’t say no. Then I came home and ate 2 cookies. Ugh.
I’ve touched on this a bit before, but I’m really struggling with going to the gym. Rather, my lack of going to the gym. My days are so long and when they are over, the last thing I want to go do go to the gym. I just want to go home and relax. I just don’t know when to fit it in! Working out and feeling fit is definitely important to me, but so is my down time to relax after my long days. What do you all do when you get out of a routine? How do you get out of a rut? I could definitely use some inspiration right now!
