Here I am. Sitting in the library hanging out until my next class. I really should be studying Anatomy and Physiology, but instead I am reading
globs blogs (and apparently I cant type today since I just typed globs about 5 times while trying to type blogs. I think my fingers are frozen). Here are some fun facts:
1. It is currently 10 degrees outside
2. I have five classes and a meeting in a row this afternoon
3. I have 7 tabs open in Internet Explorer all containing recipes that I want to try and don’t want to forget the web address where I found them
4. Apparently, outside of the United States, 10% of the worlds protein comes from insect sources.
I found that last one particularly interesting. We talked about that in my Nutrition and Culture class last week. Also, the termite has one of the highest amounts of protein per volume. Now I’m not saying we should start eating insects, its just really interesting to think about what is totally normal in most of the world is completely disgusting to most Americans. I think I’ll stick to chicken, fish, and beans…
Ok, ok. Anatomy and Physiology, here I come. 😦
